Now Broadcasting in 192kbps!
3.12.2010 - Huge increase in the audio quality on the radio station broadcasts! Large increase making lows and highs cleaner and clearer sound on all shows. Increased the audio quality from 64kbps to 192kbps! I may lower it to 128 or 96 if connection is a problem for listeners but don't think this will be the case. Most listeners like the higher quality. Upgraded some of the studio audio equipment for better sound.
Home Page Playlist
3.12.2010 - Live show playlist on the home page. Now you can view the current dj and mix that is currently playing and the recently played mixes. This info is updated as the mixes change. Also there is a request form on the home page as well for requests and comments.
Facelift
12.26.2009 - Yes once again it was time to provide a facelift for planetfrequency.com and it is now v4. It has been days months and years toward the never ending quest to improve upon the site each time around with new changes. Again the site has been cleaned up a bit making for a less "busy" look and at the same time a little more user freindly. Less clutter, easier navagation is always a more enjoyable visit to any website and PF is no different.
Easier Navagation
12.26.2009 - On previous versions of planetfrequency.com the navigation improved little by little with each newer version. Now, version4 has its chance to lessen that pain even more with less buttons and clear and concise text regarding the navagation links that are necessary at a minimum. So when you arrive its very easy and pleasant to find your way around.
Mixes Are Back
12.26.2009 - Yes it's true the mixes are on their way. As PF aquired more hits and visits to the previous versions of the site it created a spikes on the old server which eventually brought the site to a screeching halt in regard to the mixes. Now after a new location and new site, the mixes are making a comeback at PF.com. The mixes that are going to be available will eventually be just like before. With many mixes by many djs and now with extras such as screensavers, wallpapers, free audio software tools and video. Past archived PFR radio shows and past archived video shows. There will also be event video as well.
