12.20.2010 - DeepDish Just as active in the studio as the DJ booth, Deep Dish has been called upon to employ their innovative remix style to hits by top artists such as The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson & Janet Jackson, Dido The Pet Shop Boys, and N-Sync. So it came as no surprise when Madonna decided to get in on the act by choosing the guys to remix the debut single from her latest album Music (Maverick). Resulting in an infectious dance floor hit, the reworked track won dozens of accolades, including a Grammy award nomination for "Best Remixer of the Year." Madonna was so pleased with their remix, she invited Deep Dish to warm up the crowd for her one-off North America live show at New York's Roseland Ballroom.

There are also multiple players that you can choose from just like the regular station page. 3.30.2010 - PF Share - is a new area on the site that offers an area to upload your favorite dj mixes or audio files and share them with the world. Visitors can downloa, upload or play these audio files directly from this folder! So check it out and upload some of your favorite audio files and feel free to download them as well. The station would like to thank those that upload audio and will air these file on the LIVE radio show broadcast. By sending us your name and name or description of your audio file using the station form. no e-mail is needed but is optional.

3.30.2010 - Spotlight Djs - A NEW page created with the upcoming dj in mind that would like to promote his/her mixes. By going to the upload area a dj can promote mixes can upload files to a folder on the site for anyone to play or download. These mixes can also be aired on the show. In order to do this you must fill out the info form and a password will be given. This is to keep the situation some what under control. So send them up if you have them.

3.12.2010 - Now broadcasting in 192kbps! - Mp3 audio quality on the radio station broadcasts! The previous Mp3 bitrate quality was 64 and now with the increase to 192 the audio has been vastly imroved. With the increase the show has never sounded better. Major improvement in clarity , bass, and highs. This makes for better record quality if you happen to record the show. Upgraded some of the studio audio equipment for better sound.
5.8.2010 - 64Kbps for mobile device connection! We have updated the mobile page so that you can now connect to a 64 Kbps connection for your mobile device on the go! providing this bitrate will ensure a more reliable connection in the mobile device situation and less bandwidth as well.

3.12.2010 - Live show playlist - on the home page. Now you can view the current dj and mix that is currently playing and the recently played mixes. This info is updated as the mixes change. Also there is a request form on the home page as well for requests and comments.
New look
6.26.2010 - Site Streamline - PFR and PF had some modifications to their home pages. Shortened the pages and realined the links and images. Now the pages have less content but are easier to navigate. Created an 'ondemand' page as well as a 'podcastplaylist' page for viewing the mixes with in the show. The ondemand page allows for 24/7 play and downloading the shows.
12.3.2009 - Site Overhaul - The sister site of planetfrequency.com and also home of the net station Planetfrequency Radio. To avoid confusion but more importantly make it obvious that the two sites are of one mold we felt it necessary to to update it once again. PFR is solely dedicated to the Radio Station and PF is primarily about the djs and music mixed sets downloads.

12.3.2009 - Media Players - On previous versions of planetfrequencyradio.com there were no LIVE embeded players Now when you visit the page the video player will automatically load and will already be in LIVE streaming mode. You do not have to start the player. So if you hear and see the sounds and visuals then we are LIVE!
Cleaner Look
12.3.2009 - Streamlined Pages - The site was designed to have a cleaner look and feel so that it's less confusing but at the same time casts of the recognition that it's the sister site of planetfrequency.com as well. So it was decided that the site needed a cosmetic over haul and the changes were made. We hope we achieved our goal with the visitors in agreement.
